How to run your node

on the cloud

Visit the Smartflow Website

Navigate to www.smartflow.org and log in using your credentials.

Toggle on VaaS Verification as a Service

Look to the top right corner of the launchpad and toggle on “VaaS”

Purchase a Worker Node
  • Check the left panel of the platform and click on Worker Node.
  • Choose to either bring your own node (via providers like Amazon or DigitalOcean)
    or purchase one directly on the Energy Web Manage Cloud.
    In this example Select “Energy Web Manage Cloud”
  • Select the number of nodes based on the amount of EWT you hold.
  • Note that the monthly cost for running a node on the cloud is $29.99.
    Click Subscribe and complete the payment process.

Deploy the Worker Node
  • After the purchase, go to the Launchpad where your worker node appears
    under “Managing” as ready to deploy.
  • Click Deploy.
  • Name your worker node (e.g., "Name Cloud").
  • Select the desired region (e.g., London, UK) and ensure you have a public IP address.

Step 4
Configure the Node Account

If creating a new node, enter your seed phrase to generate a worker node account; if migrating an existing node, proceed with the migration process. Wait for the node status to change to Ready, then review its details (public key and health status).

Open the Operators Console
and link the Worker Node to the Cloud

  • Click Open Operators Console.
  • Choose either the desktop app or the web UI to activate the node.
  • On the Marketplace App, look at the bottom left of the left panel. Click on Select to run this worker node on machine.
